No more animals in circuses: the time is now.

The time is now, any delay will be very harmful to the animals.

It is estimated that Italian circuses still use around 2,000 animals.

They are:

• forced to perform in degrading shows
• subjected to training based on physical and psychological violence,
• confined in small spaces and inappropriate environments
• subjected to highly stressful movements.
  

Now we have a great opportunity to put an end to all this and join the more than 50 countries around the world that have already adopted similar regulations.

In Italy, the law on entertainment has established the principle of "overcoming the use of animals in circuses and traveling shows", and it must be implemented through a government decree by next August.
Any further delay would be detrimental to the animals and the cultural progress of our country.

We, therefore, call on all citizens to say '#StopAnimalsInCircuses'. On the weekends of 9 and 10 March and 16 and 17 March, as part of the LAV National Days.
